The Bat and Ball
Clare and the team, run a cosy, independently bed and breakfast in Canterbury, just a short walk from the city centre. Our aim is to offer a comfortable, relaxed place to stay where guests can truly feel at home.
We provide spacious, thoughtfully designed rooms, each with a private en-suite, along with modern comforts to make your stay easy and enjoyable. With free parking, high-speed Wi-Fi and a delicious continental breakfast included, we take pride in combining convenience, comfort and a friendly personal touch for every guest.

Lucy Stanyer - Embodiment and Life Coach
Lucy is an experienced embodiment and life coach dedicated to helping women gain clarity, confidence and positive momentum.
Specialising in personal and career transitions, with particular expertise supporting ADHD and neurodivergent individuals, Lucy's whole-person approach integrates thoughts, feelings, body and breath to build self-awareness. Her coaching creates a safe space where women can align their lives with their values and cultivate sustainable habits. Lucy brings these transformative qualities to our Spring Reset Retreat through personalised sessions designed to inspire authentic growth and renewed purpose.
Example Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome
12:00 PM – Arrival & Welcome Drink
Greet each other with a warm drink and a relaxed start to the retreat.
12:30 PM – Welcome Lunch & Introductions
Enjoy a light, nourishing lunch while getting to know the group.
1:30 – 4:30 PM – 1:1 Sessions & Group Workshops
Personal coaching sessions with Lucy, alongside engaging group workshops/creative activities
5:30 PM – Free Time
Take a moment to relax, reflect, or enjoy the surroundings before the evening.
7:00 PM – Gentle Walk into Canterbury
Enjoy a relaxing stroll into the heart of the city.
7:30 PM – Dinner in Canterbury
Dinner at one of Canterbury’s charming local restaurants.
Evening Free Time
Explore the city streets, enjoy a quiet stroll, or cosy up with a book.
Day 2: Reflection & Exploration
8:30 AM – Breakfast
Continental breakfast served at the B&B to start the day.
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM – 1:1 Sessions & Group Workshops
Continue personal sessions with Lucy and collaborative group workshops/creative activities
1:00 PM – Leisurely Walk & Lunch in Canterbury
Enjoy a slow-paced walk into the city, stopping for lunch in one of Canterbury’s beautiful gardens.
Afternoon Free Time
Explore the cobbled streets, visit the Beaney House of Art & Knowledge, or marvel at the Cathedral.
3:30 PM – Creative Session at the B&B
Engage in a reflective, creative session to capture the retreat experience.
4:30 PM – Goodbyes
Farewell, reflections, and parting words.
Post-Retreat
Use your self-coaching booklet to build on the clarity and reset gained during the retreat.
